Jeff has over 30 years of experience in the Roadway Design/PD&E Industry, with a concentration of Express Lanes-related projects in the past 10 years. He has cutting-edge experience with Managed Lane/Express Lane conceptual design along with complex interchange design. Some of these experiences include: Preparing highway plans for PD&E studies, corridor studies, minor highway roadway design projects, major highway design projects; Generating roadway construction cost estimates using the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) Long Range Estimate (LRE) software; Designing conceptual minor/major/controlled access, highway facilities and interchanges in order to select the most feasible and cost-effective design; and Roadway design and preparation of roadway plans for numerous projects in accordance with the Florida Design Manual, including complex interchange geometry, roadway cross sections, profiles, Pavement Markings, MOT design and plans, right of way acquisition, utility adjustment plans, drainage design, stormwater pollution prevention and typical section packages.
JEFFREY D. The objective of this PD&E Study is to evaluate corridor improvements that will add highway and interchange capacity to the corridor. The project will address existing and future traffic needs to improve travel time reliability, enhance safety, and long-term mobility options along the corridor. The study also includes a section of Florida’s Turnpike (SR 91) from Wiles Road to the Broward/Palm Beach County Line. The PD&E Study proposes additional lanes, new Pavement Markings, new collector-distributor roadway systems, and improvements to the interchanges at US 441, Lyons Road, Florida’s Turnpike, and the Powerline Road intersection.
FDOT D6, SR 826 PD&E/SIMR Study, Add Express Lanes, Miami-Dade County, FL | Project Engineer - A Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study for SR 826 (Palmetto Expressway) from US 1 (SR 5) to SR
ENGINEERS PLANNERS PROGRAM MANAGERS
