<br />City of Hialeah, 2050 Master Plan, Hialeah, FL | Planner - Participated in stakeholder meetings and design maps for connectivity, accessibility, existing transit conditions, crash severity and high crash volume intersections. Consider a livable transportation and Complete Streets approach where the character area plans are part of the “city-wide” plan and integrate this plan into the regional county-wide plan. Gateways and streetscape design will be critical components of the Mobility and Connectivity plan and recommendations will be included such as policies for street design, including shade and seating.
<br />City of Tamarac, Comprehensive Plan Update, Tamarac, FL | Planner - Assisted in facilitating five public workshops to understand better development needs, challenges, and opportunities throughout the City of Tamarac. Corradino developed both short- and long-range goals toward the fulfillment of the community vision. Created visual materials (posters, mapping, infographics) to prompt meaningful discussion and educate the community on feasible standards. We are currently drafting Comprehensive Plan Elements for Education, Conservation, Intergovernmental Coordination, and Capital Improvement, which are to the standard and quality expected by residents, stakeholders, and the city.
<br />City of West Melbourne, Comprehensive Plan Update, West Melbourne, FL | Planner - Updated existing data and analysis pertaining to population projections, land use data, housing data, transportation data, and infrastructure and capacity. Performed a comprehensive review of the Comprehensive Plan Elements for Education, Infrastructure and Capital Improvements, Conservation, and Intergovernmental Coordination. Used GIS mapping to update maps as a resource for policy modification as necessary.
<br />Village of Palmetto, Bay Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan Update, Palmetto Bay, FL | Planner - An overall bicycle and pedestrian master plan update was completed with the basic sidewalk network linking the existing Village generators with the overall county Greenway system which borders Palmetto Bay on both east and west boundaries. To develop a multi-level bicycle and pedestrian network focused on servicing the multiple user groups, a hierarchy facility was developed that included: Basic Pedestrian Network, Local Connectivity, Commuter Access, Greenways, Commercial Connectors, and Policy.
<br />City of Sunny Isles Beach and Village of El Portal, Interim Planning Services, Sunny Isles Beach and El Portal, FL | Planner - Corradino provides professional planning services on an as-needed basis including building permit reviews, site inspections and to assist the City to fill a gap between planning staff.
<br />City of Homestead, General Planning Services, Homestead, FL | Planner - Since 2014, Corradino was tasked with completing the Comprehensive Plan Future Land Use Plan Map amendments, rezoning of city-owned properties in downtown Homestead, and amending the zoning code to allow for certain public and retail/entertainment facilities. In addition, Corradino handles special projects including annexation analyses, zoning code chapter revisions, a public art master plan, comprehensive plan amendments, and zoning and land use map changes. Ms. Hermida has assisted with ongoing assignments for municipal development review.
