To address these issues, Corradino proposed installing a new roundabout at this intersection. <br />The project involved a complete reconstruction of the roadway at the intersection and adjacent roads. Corradino completed an updated corridor along Hiatus Road between Sheridan Street and Stirling Road. Additionally, the transportation infrastructure improvements included the construction of new roadways, updated signage and pavement markings, a new drainage system, and landscaping improvements. <br />This project was coordinated with the City, the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), Broward County, and the residents of the two nearby residential communities adjacent to the roundabout.
