NUTTING ENGINEERS OF FLORIDA, INC. has been one of the premier geotechnical engineering firms,
<br />provides extensive geotechnical engineering, construction materials testing and structural inspection services in
<br />South Florida and the Treasure Coast since its incorporation in 1967. Prior to this date, operations were
<br />performed through Nutting Engineers, Inc. (from 1956) and by H.C. Nutting Company (from 1932). Over this
<br />time NUTTING has built an excellent reputation, developed a strong understanding of soil conditions,
<br />construction technologies and formed numerous strong business relationships throughout the construction
<br />industry.

<br />bridges, parking lots and garages, drainage systems, city halls and municipal buildings, parks, recreational

<br />GEOTECHNICAL EXPLORATION AND ENGINEERING:
<br />NUTTING’S geotechnical exploration and engineering services include site explorations, sample analysis, site
<br />and foundation recommendations, site feasibility, ground modification recommendations, large scale preliminary
<br />site and geological survey programs, utilization of outcroppings of subsurface materials, resistivity testing, and
<br />geophysical techniques such as ground penetrating radar, soil borings, hydrogeologic testing, monitoring well
<br />installation and seismographic equipment utilization. NUTTING also performs pre- and post- condition surveys,
<br />forensic evaluations and litigation support. Drillers (3) are trained to perform geotechnical drilling services in
<br />accordance with the American Society of Testing and Materials (ASTM), South Florida Water Management
<br />District (SFWMD) and the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) standards. Nutting also maintains strong
<br />relationships with several excellent, well trained subcontracting drilling companies to handle overflow.
<br />The NUTTING fleet includes three (3) company owned soil and rock truck mounted drilling rigs, including
<br />Mobile B-57 and two (2) CME drill rigs. The company also has powered portable tripod equipment.
