CAPORELLA PARK <br />Location: <br />Tamarac, FL <br />Owner: <br />City of Tamarac <br />Owner’s Representative: <br />Greg Warner CPRE, <br />Former Director <br />Tamarac Parks and <br />Recreation Department <br />CAPORELLA PARK <br />The enhancement of Caporella Park for the City of Tamarac included <br />the replacement of a Restroom building with a new 1200 SF Restroom <br />and Concession building for cultural events to be held for City residents. <br />The new design also includes a shaded SplashPad feature, Fitness <br />Station and Playground with equipment aimed at all age groups and <br />inclusive for accessibility. <br />The existing lake is accentuated as a backdrop for a 2500 SF covered <br />stage constructed partially on land and in water with a grass <br />amphitheater acting as seating area for performances. A boat launch <br />dock is also included in the new park to take advantage of the big lake. <br />A multipurpose trail with shaded benches along the way loops around <br />the entire 9.3-acre parcel of land and lake. <br />Architecture Planning Design <br />Walters Zackria Associates, PLLC | RFQ # 26-07-01 | Page 73
