QUALIFICATIONS West Architecture + Design, LLC 820 North 4th Street, Lantana, Florida 33462 Phone: 561-588-2027 / Fax: 561-582-9419 Architecture License: AR93859 / AA26001503 www.west-arch.com 2.1 WHY WEST ARCHITECTURE + DESIGN IS BEST QUALIFIED West Architecture + Design, LLC (WAD) is well qualified to provide continuing professional architectural and engineering consulting services to the City of Sunny Isles Beach. Since 2007, WAD has delivered architectural and multidisciplinary design services for municipal governments and other public-sector clients throughout South Florida. WAD offers the City the following key advantages: Extensive municipal and public-sector architectural experience Experience administering continuing professional services contracts Integrated architectural, engineering, landscape architecture, surveying, and ge- otechnical capabilities Proven experience with new construction, renovations, additions, facility evalua- tions, parks, public-safety facilities, and municipal improvements Knowledge of South Florida permitting, codes, environmental conditions, and re- siliency requirements In-house construction knowledge supporting constructability, cost estimating, scheduling, and value engineering Experience coordinating projects within occupied and continuously operating pub- lic facilities Building Information Modeling, three-dimensional visualization, and existing- condition documentation capabilities An established South Florida team capable of responding concurrently to multiple task orders WAD will serve as the prime consultant and single point of responsibility for the City. The firm will self-perform architectural design, programming, project management, City coordination, architectural quality assurance and quality control, cost and constructability coordination, and construction administration. WAD will be supported by: TLC Engineering Solutions: Mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and structural engineering KEITH: Civil engineering, landscape architecture, surveying, mapping, and related site services Nutting Engineers of Florida: Geotechnical engineering, subsurface investigations, testing, and related consulting This team provides the professional resources required to address the wide range of munici- pal assignments anticipated under the City’s continuing services contract. 2.2 MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS MQR No. 1: Licensing & Professional Credentials WAD and its proposed subconsultants possess the professional licenses and certifications necessary to provide the disciplines proposed for this contract. 14
