<br />Dr. Moatz Saad brings over 14 years of
<br />transportation engineering experience,
<br />making him exceptionally suited to lead
<br />transportation and multimodal planning for
<br />the City of Sunny Isles Beach. His expertise spans traffic
<br />safety, complete streets, microsimulation, signal
<br />operations, transit, and pedestrian and bicycle
<br />planning, directly aligned with a coastal city's mobility
<br />needs. He has managed traffic studies and multimodal
<br />plans for FDOT, Miami-Dade County, and Florida cities.
<br />His most relevant experience includes the City of
<br />Hollywood Johnson Street Complete Streets Project,
<br />evaluating a reconstructed corridor with sidewalks,
<br />transit stops, and lighting, and the MDC-DTPW STEP
<br />Implementation Plan to Advance Bikeways,

<br />Miami-Dade County, and municipal corridor projects.

<br />capturing counts and speed data along a corridor with
<br />new sidewalks, lighting, and drainage, and the Venetian
<br />Causeway Speed Study, where he led coastal speed

<br />Project Manager for HBC. A Florida PE, his
<br />expertise spans Intelligent Transportation Systems,
<br />signalization, roadway and street lighting, EV charging
<br />infrastructure, and NEC compliance, directly aligned
<br />with the City of Sunny Isles Beach's electrical, lighting,
<br />and mobility needs. He has led municipal and FDOT
<br />electrical and ITS designs. His most relevant experience
<br />includes the Park and Ride Expansion Project, where
<br />he served as Engineer of Record designing EV charging
<br />infrastructure and site lighting, and the City of
<br />Pembroke Pines Street Lighting Inventory and
<br />Illumination Levels Study, developing municipal
<br />lighting standards.
