Summary Minutes:Regular City Commission Meeting February 19,2015 City of Sunny Isles Beach,Florida <br /> together on this, and we appreciate Mr. Cahlin for coming today with this presentation. <br /> Commissioner Levin disclosed that she knows Richard as he is a CPA for a client of hers, <br /> and he had told her about the Bicycle Action Committee. She thinks it is a really great idea. <br /> Mayor Scholl said he had said the operative words, "no cost". City Attorney Ottinot said <br /> procedurally based on the Charter because of the use of the City Seal, he needs the <br /> Commission to approve the use of the Seal. Mayor Scholl said then that he needs a motion <br /> to approve the use of the Seal as an advertising medium on the bicycle uniform. <br /> Commissioner Levin moved and Commissioner Aelion said we should do something <br /> contingent on, and Mayor Scholl said what we are doing is giving the City Manager <br /> flexibility to work it out if he feels that it is appropriate but if he works it out then we have <br /> already approved the use of the Seal. <br /> Commissioner Levin moved and Commissioner Aelion seconded a motion to approve the <br /> use of the City Seal. The motion was approved by a voice vote of 5-0. City Attorney <br /> Ottinot said to turn this into a Resolution authorizing the City Manager to negotiate with <br /> BAC for the program. City Manager Russo said he would follow up on this with our bicycle <br /> safety personnel from both the Police Department and from the Cultural and Community <br /> Services Department and have a meeting with Mr. Cahlin.
