Request of TDR Towers Master Association, Inc. for Property Located at 15811, 15901, <br /> and 16001 Collins Avenue for the Following: (Hearing #PZ2014-17) <br /> Summary: <br /> The Applicant is requesting approval of a site plan modification of the common area parking <br /> pedestal with the TDR Trump Towers. The Applicant is seeking approval of the following <br /> three (3) variances: <br /> 1. A building separation variance of 0 feet where 100 feet are required. <br /> 2. A building width variance of 800 feet where 250 feet of width are allowed for <br /> structures above 20 feet of height. <br /> 3. A parking space to be 8 feet and 6 inches in width where 9 feet in width are allowed. <br /> Requests: <br /> 1. Pursuant to Section 265-18 of the City of Sunny Isles Beach Land Development <br /> Regulations. the Applicant is requesting approval of a site plan modification to increase <br /> the parking count from 1,050 to 1,390 parking spaces. <br /> 2. Pursuant to Section 265-15 of the City of Sunny Isles Beach Land Development <br /> Regulations, the Applicant is requesting a building separation variance to permit a <br /> building separation of 0 feet where 100 feet is required pursuant to Section 265-35 D.(5) <br /> of the Land Development Regulations. <br /> 3. Pursuant to Section 265-15 of the City of Sunny Isles Beach Land Development <br /> Regulations, the Applicant is requesting a building width variance to permit 800 feet <br /> where 250 feet is allowed pursuant to Section 265-35 D.(6) of the Land Development <br /> Regulations. <br /> 4. Pursuant to Section 265-15 of the City of Sunny Isles Beach Land Development <br /> Regulations,the Applicant is requesting a parking space size variance to permit a parking <br /> space of 8 feet and 6 inches in width where 9 feet in width is required pursuant to <br /> Section 265-46 A.(7)(a) of the Land Development Regulations. <br /> Protests 0 Waivers 0 Ex Parte 0 <br /> Action: [City Clerk's Note: This item was heard after Items 12A and 12B.] Mayor Scholl <br /> gave opening remarks on zoning procedures/decorum. City Clerk Hines read a disclaimer for <br /> the Zoning hearing, and administered the oath to witnesses. City Attorney Ottinot asked if <br /> there were any Ex Parte Disclosures and there were none. City Planner Claudia Hasbun <br /> reported the Applicant is requesting approval of a site plan modification to increase the <br /> number of existing parking spaces in the TDR Trump Towers Parking Garage from 1,050 to <br /> 1,390 which is an increase of 340 spaces. The original Zoning approval consisted of three <br /> (3) Multi-Family Condominium Towers with a total of 813 units. The approval was issued <br /> through Resolution No. 05-Z-94 adopted on July 14, 2005.
