Ebsary Foundation Company <br />Past Performance Documentation <br /> <br />PROJECT: S-129, S-131, S-133 and S-135 Pump Stations Trash Rake Upgrades and Site Improvements <br />Martin, Glades & Okeechobee Counties, Florida <br /> <br />1. Contract number of referred project: <br /> <br />South Florida Water Management District RFB No. 600000539 <br />South Florida Water Management District RFB No. 600000540 <br /> <br />2. Description and location of work: <br /> <br />Four Separate Bridge and Seawall construction locations located in Glades, Okeechobee and Martin County, <br />Florida, on the Herbert Hoover Dike on the shore of Lake Okeechobee. The projects consists of the <br />demolition and replacement of four (4) existing pump station intake channel steel sheet pile walls, steel <br />sheet/king pile combination sea walls, and dedicated bypass channel shall steel sheet pile walls and <br />construction of new post-tensioned precast prestressed bridges built over the pump station intake channel. <br />The bridge was supported by 18” and 24” precast prestressed piling and associated cast-in-place concrete <br />caps and approach slabs. In addition, the project also consisted of the installation of temporary steel sheet <br />pile walls and cofferdams for dewatering and supports of excavation. <br /> <br />3. Company Role: <br /> <br />Subcontractor – Steel Sheet Pile and Bridge Construction <br /> <br />4. FDOT Related Work Classes Performed: <br /> <br />Minor Bridge, Portland Cement Concrete Roadway Paving <br /> <br />5. Relevancy To Work Classes: <br /> <br />Ebsary Foundation Company was contracted to perform heavy highway and bridge construction utilizing all <br />of equipment, manpower, type of construction and management requirements all directly relate to <br />Intermediate Bridge Construction. Most Specifically this project included the construction of four (4) <br />separate multi-span minor bridges over pump station intake canals. The construction consisted of driven <br />concrete piling, cast in place concrete pile caps, precast post tensioned concrete deck slabs, cast in place <br />concrete approach slabs, steel sheet piling combination walls and cast in place concrete seawall caps. <br />Additionally, this project was located directly adjacent to the Federally Managed Herbert Hoover Dike <br />Canal which is a sensitive marine environment and required navigation warnings, extensive turbidity control <br />measures, marine environmental permitting, coordination with state and federal environmental agencies and <br />required numerous levels of inspections, quality control and certification which are similar to FDOT <br />projects <br /> <br />6. Specialty Work Classes Performed: <br /> <br />Driven Steel Sheet Pile, Pile Driving, Marine Construction
