Description and location of work: <br /> <br /> This project entailed furnishing and installing 44 ea. 24” prestressed concrete piling for the construction of <br />the Dodge Island Bridge for the Port of Miami Tunnel and Access and Improvements. The total installation <br />for this project included 2,465 lineal feet of precast and prestressed 24” square concrete piling; to include <br />associated test piling, pile cutoff and disposal. <br /> <br />3. Relevancy To Work Classes: <br /> <br />Ebsary Foundation Company was contracted to perform heavy highway and bridge construction utilizing all <br />of equipment, manpower, type of construction and management requirements all directly relate to <br />Intermediate Bridge Construction. Most specifically, this project included extensive foundation <br />construction, excavation, pile driving, project management and environmental coordination. Ebsary had to <br />conform to all FDOT standard specifications for roadway and bridge construction, specifically section 455. <br /> <br />6.
