<br />GENERAL LANDSCAPE NOTES:
<br />-All plant material to be Florida n.1 or better. Florida Department of Agriculture

<br />- Landscape Plants to be installed in compliance and accordance with all State of
<br />Florida, Dade County and all local codes.
<br />- Planting plan will take precedence over plant lists in case of any discrepancies, The
<br />Landscape Contractor Is responsible to verify all quantities and shall notify the
<br />Landscape Architect of any discrepancies prior to bid submission.
<br />- Landscape Contractor to visit and familiarize himself with the scope of work prior
<br />to submitting a bid, and shall be responsible to obtain all permits required to
<br />perform all landscape Installation denoted on the set of landscape plans,
<br />- Landscape Contractor is required to submit an Itemized bid breakdown only, lump
<br />sum bids will not be accepted. Any additions and /or deletions of plant material
<br />during any change orders can only be proposed as same price as identified In the
<br />base bid unless client approved price update.
<br />-The landscape pplans will be considered Incomplete without the presence of the
<br />landscape specification. The Landscape Contractor is required to have a copy of the
<br />landscapes plans and the landscape specifications, if applicable, at the field at all
<br />times.
<br />- Contractor to locate and verify all underground and above ground utilities prior to
<br />digging and Installation.
<br />-No changes to the plans are to be made without the prior consent of the Landscape
<br />Architect; all plant material Is subject to availability at the time of Installation.
<br />Substitutions may be made after consultation with the Landscape Architect.
<br />-A" Planting beds to receive 60/40 planting soil mix (60 % Everglades Peat/ 40%
<br />clean sand) minimum 6" deep, excavate existing landscape areas 10" deep to
<br />receive 6" of soil and 3" of mulch 1" below pavement. All tree holes to be backfilled
<br />around and under the rootball with planting soil mix (refer to planting details).
<br />-All planting beds and tree saucers to receive Pinebark mulch grade 'A' - 3" deep.
<br />Finish grade of mulch to be 1" below pavement edges (Typ) refer to landscape
<br />details.
<br />-All trees and palms to be guyed and staked In a good workmanlike manner. No nail
<br />staking permitted. Black nylon straps maybe substituted for guy wires for guying
<br />small trees and palms. Use 4 "x4" wood braces for large palms and trees.
<br />-All trees, palms, shrubs and groundcovers to be guaranteed for a period of 12
<br />months.
<br />-All planting beds are weed and grass free until final acceptance.
<br />-All plant material to be fertilized at time of Installation following manufacture's
<br />recommendation, submit sample for approval.
<br />-Trees of at least 14' to have a min. caliper of 2 -1/2" at D.B.H., or 4' -6"
<br />-All 1 gal. material to have a min, spread of 12 ", 3 gal. 20 -24" spread min.
<br />- Landscape Contractor to coordinate his work with the General Contractor, Irrigation
<br />Contractor, Pool Contractor and Electrical Contractor.
<br />- Landscape Architect to approve all Coconut Palms prior to construction.
