ORDINANCE WE 2014- 136 <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY <br /> OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA AMENDING <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 2014-436; AMENDING THE CITY'S <br /> BUDGET NO. BA141S-01 FOR THE 2014.2015 FISCAL YEAR <br /> TO ADJUST THE GENERAL FUND FOR PARKS CAPITAL <br /> OUTLAY REQUESTS; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER <br /> TO DO ALL THINGS NECESSARY TO IMPLEMENT THE <br /> TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS ORDINANCE; AND <br /> PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> WHEREAS, in accordance with Subsection 200.065 and 166.241, Florida Statutes and <br /> the City Charter, the City Commission adopted the Budget for Fiscal Year 2014-2015 (the <br /> "Budget")by Ordinance No.2014-436;and <br /> . WHEREAS, prior to the first public hearing on the Budget, a page of Capital Request <br /> hems was prepared but not included in the proposed budget, in addition, it was further <br /> contemplated with the completion of Gateway Park an additional 4-wheel drive pickup truck was <br /> needed for the crew that will handle this new Park;and <br /> WHEREAS, Fifty-Five Thousand One Hundred Dollars($55,100,00)for Capital Outlay <br /> for Parks Maintenance is requested;and <br /> WHEREAS, the City's Finance Director has determined the General Fund needs to be <br /> adjusted for Parks Capital Outlay Requests, and as a result, the budget amendment, attached <br /> hereto as Exhibit"A",is necessary;and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Commission has determined that it is necessary to emend the <br /> Budget,as set forth in Exhibit"A", based upon the review and analysis provided by the Finance <br /> Director. <br /> NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE <br /> CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA,AS FOLLOWS: <br /> Section 1; lncprporation of Recitals. The foregoing "WHEREAS" clauses are hereby <br /> ratified and confirmed as being true and correct and are hereby made a specific part by this <br /> Ordinance upon adoption hereof'. <br /> Section 2; Budget Amendment. The Budget for Fiscal Year 2014-2015 adopted by <br /> Ordinance No. 2014-436 is amended as Amendment No. BA1415.0t to reflect the revisions in <br /> Exhibit"A". All other terms and conditions of Ordinance No.2014-436 not otherwise amended <br /> by this Ordinance remain in full force and effect. <br /> Section): Authorization of City Manager.
