<br /> Ms. de Cubas has over 16 years of experience in the mechanical engineering design field. Her diverse
<br />range of expertise comprises design for Commercial, Healthcare, Educational, and Institutional
<br />facilities, among others. Her primary responsibilities include Project Management and coordination
<br />among the different disciplines, as well as with Clients.
<br />Karin also has extensive experience in the use of Computer Aided Design software, such as AutoCAD
<br />and Revit. In addition, Karin is fully fluent in English, Spanish, and French.

<br />MEP Project Manager & HVAC Design for a new 45,000 SF facility educational center for the Seminole Tribe of

<br />Broward Health North – Deerfield Beach, Florida
<br />Project Manager for the HVAC Design of the new ±54,000 SF expansion of the Facility’s Emergency Department
<br />and Surgical Suite, and renovation of the Sterile Processing Department.

<br />Involved in the Master Planning and Design Development of 255‐acres Multi‐use development, including
<br />Standalone Chiller Plants with full power generation. Construction Documents for Phase 1A with an estimated
<br />construction budget cost of U.S $550 million. Design included HVAC, Plumbing and Fire Protection. The large
<br />capacity Chiller Plant for Phase 1A consists of (3) Cooling Towers with Condenser Water pumps, and (3) 700‐
<br />Tons Water Cooled Chillers with Primary and Secondary Chilled Water Pumps and an underground chilled
<br />water piping loop.
<br />City of Sunny Isles Beach City Hall & Police Complex – Sunny Isles Beach, FL
<br />Involved in the HVAC Design of a new 57,032 SF government complex inclusive of city hall, commission
<br />chambers, police facility, and a public library.

<br />New 100,000 SF county courthouse – four courtrooms, Judicial Chambers and staff offices.
