84 City of Sunny Isles Beach New Facility Qualifications for Architectural Design Services <br />The Sunrise Corporate Center is a <br />360,000 square foot office building on <br />a 40.8 acre parcel located in Sunrise, <br />Florida. The office building is planned <br />to be 5 stories with a two story parking <br />garage located adjacent to the build- <br />ing. Additionally, a stabilized grassed <br />and landscaped area to the east of the <br />parking structure will provide for any <br />potential overflow parking. <br />The client is committed to being a pos- <br />itive presence in the communities they <br />inhabit. As part of their latest study <br />of workplace design and health, newly <br />built projects must connect employees <br />with their surroundings; and provide an <br />open, transparent and intimate connec- <br />tion to the surrounding neighborhood <br />and site..The client recognizes that this <br />approach to natural amenities helps to <br />create an inspired project, which has <br />the capacity to attract and retain the <br />best talent in the industry. <br />To this end, the project site has been <br />conceived as a bridge, or series of <br />layers, that transitions different types <br />of zoning (from residential to the south <br />to commercial at the north edge) and <br />scales (small scale residential to large <br />scale urban/suburban). The building is <br />conceived as a dialogue with the natu- <br />ral landscape.
