calculated by averaging the employee's rate of pay for the last three years of <br /> service (provided the amount of accrued vacation time to be paid is two or three <br /> years worth.) <br /> 13) If a City paid holiday falls within an employee's vacation period, an additional day <br /> of vacation will be granted. This additional day may be taken at the beginning or <br /> end of the employee's vacation period or at another time during the vacation year, <br /> subject to the supervisor's approval.
