<br /> <br />JASON T. KOROSE <br />Professional Experience: <br />Mr. Korose has a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture Degree with professional experience in <br />landscape design. He has done design work for commercial projects, residential projects, as well <br />as government projects. He provides designs based on client specifications and desires, the <br />City/County requirements for each project type, as well as the overall project budget. <br />Relevant projects:Jason T. Korose has directly worked on and/or overseen, include but are not limited to: <br />. <br />•Florida Department of Transportation / Port of Miami –Port of Miami Tunnel –Landscape and <br />irrigation design-build project for Watson and Doge Island.Project installed: 2014 <br />•Huntsville Center, USACE Medical Facilities –Wright Patterson Air Force Base Hospital – <br />Landscape,irrigation, hardscape, site amenity and landscape lighting design for a new outdoor <br />dining area for the existing hospital. Currently in construction. <br />•UCC/DTC at Brickell (Baptist Health of South Florida)–A commercial property was purchased <br />by Baptist Health of South Florida and retrofit for medical use. The site was located in The City of <br />Miami limits and therefore we adhered to Miami 21 code in terms of landscaping and mitigation. <br />We met and exceeded code requirements in terms of the landscape design services that were <br />provided. We provided design services in terms of laying out the irrigation system as per code <br />requirements as well.Project installed: 2012. <br />•Miami-Dade Aviation Department / Parsons Odebrecht JV –MIA Mover –Landscape and <br />irrigation design-build project for the access roadways immediately adjacent to and located under <br />the MIA mover tracks. Project installed: 2012. <br />•Florida Memorial University –New Student Housing –Landscape, irrigation and hardscape <br />design for the New Student Housing, approximately 5 acres in size. Project installed: 2011. <br />•Miami-Dade County –Historic Hampton House restoration –Landscape and irrigation design <br />for this 2 acre-site. As part our scope we were to research what the property looked like back in the <br />1960’s as it was the intent of MDC to restore it back to its original form. Currently in construction <br />phase. <br />•Marriott Residence Inn –in Dania Beach, FL. Landscape and irrigation design for the new Hotel <br />complex. Work also consisted of mitigation for several existing trees on the property. Currently in <br />100% construction document phase. <br />•Miami-Dade Fire Rescue Stations –We have worked on the landscape and irrigation on many fire <br />stations throughout Miami-Dade County. For instance, Homestead Fire Station No. 16 and Trail <br />Fire Station No. 61 have been completed and installed. Model Cities Fire Station No. 2 and Doral <br />North Fire Station No. 69 are currently in construction. Miami Lakes Fire Station No. 64 is currently <br />in construction. <br />Role in Project:Senior Project Manager <br />Education:Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture, Ball State University, Muncie, Indiana <br />-May 2000. <br /> <br />37 |
