May 29, 2015 <br />Sunny Isles Beach Government Center <br />18070 Collins Avenue <br />Sunny Isles Beach, Florida 33160 <br />COVER LETTER <br />Re: RFQ NO. 15- 04 -01: ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN SERVICES FOR NEW FACILITY AT 18080 COLLINS AVENUE <br />Dear Members of the Selection Committee: <br />We know now, more than ever, the role of well- designed buildings play to the health of communities and how these icons provide <br />identity to the surrounding neighborhoods within the city. ACAI understands your challenges and has the experience and team in <br />place to assist you in this process. <br />ACAI has provided professional Architecture /Engineering and Consulting services since 1985 and has experience with complex <br />projects requiring the blending of multiple uses, in a well thought -out and efficient manner. These projects have always been a <br />mainstay of ACAI's workload, with more than 80% of our experience falling into these categories. Our extensive experience in the <br />A/E /C industry spans every level of county, state and federal governmental agencies and private concerns. <br />Please allow this submittal to serve as our expression of interest to serve as your Architect in delivering design services for the <br />18080 Building. This proposal is a firm and irrevocable offer until such time as City Commission awards a contract as a result of this <br />RFQ. <br />ACAI has participated in the development of a variety of complex projects throughout Broward, Palm Beach and Miami -Dade <br />Counties, Our work has included master planning, programming, design and development of standalone facilities. ACAI and its staff <br />have extensive experience which include the following notable projects: SFRTA's new Headquarters Complex; NSU's Center for <br />Collaborative Research; the Guy Harvey Oceanographic Center; Broward County's Ravenswood Facilities; and the Wave Light Rail <br />Streetcar in Fort Lauderdale, to name but a few. <br />Critical to the success of this project is ACAI's ability to visualize beyond the scope to galvanize the pivotal possibilities the 18080 <br />Building represents to the Sunny Isles Beach Community.
