Randy Scott has over 25 years of experience in all facets of architecture and building construction, including planning, design, production, project coordination and construction administration. He has extensive knowledge and experience in construction, building code enforcement, and project management. He has effectively provided project management as well as coordination with clients, contractors and a variety of municipalities to assure successful project completion. Mr. Scott's experience and management skills are successfully applied to various projects encompassing a variety of building types. The following is a list of selected project experience: BROWARD COUNTY RAVENSWOOD BUS MAINTENANCE FACILITY, Fort Lauderdale, Florida ACAI Associates was selected by Broward County, Florida to provide programming, design and construction administration services for the replacement of facilities at the Ravenswood Bus Maintenance Facility. The 9 -acre site was reconfigured, replacing the existing 1970's structures with new state -of- the -art facilities for current and future needs. The facility accommodates up to 150 fleet vehicles including (130) 40 -foot buses and (20) 60 -foot articulated buses along with staff and visitor parking, the majority of which provides by a new 268 - space multi -level parking garage. The existing facilities replaced include: an operations building, an 11 -Bay bus maintenance building, a fueling and fare retrieval facility, bus washing facility and surface parking. In addition, ancillary structures include: a sanitary lift station, guard gate, a compressor building and other miscellaneous storage buildings. As part of Broward County's ongoing efforts to provide more energy efficient, environmentally sustainable building, the new Ravenswood Maintenance Facility will pursue a LEEDO Gold Certification. CHRIS EVERT CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL, PHASE I, Fort Lauderdale, Florida ACAI was selected to provide architectural services for the 225,000 square foot additions and alterations to Broward Health Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Our initial team included Page as Associate Architect. The Chris Evert Women's and Children's Hospital is a Level I Pediatric Trauma Center recognized by the National Association of Children's Hospitals. The healthcare facility provides family- centered care for infants, children and youth. As planned, the project will promote the hospital's South Tower as the portal to the Chris Evert Children's Hospital and includes a new Pediatric Emergency Department, state -of- the -art NICU, labor and delivery and Post -Partum Private rooms and a host of new ancillary and support facilities alongside an expanded parking garage with pedestrian skylink direct to the new tower. ACAI was instrumental in compelling the District to establish their Building Information Modeling (BIM) standards and FM Models as part of a Districtwide comprehensive conversion /FM process. As a result, the Chris Evert Children's Hospital project is the first major BIM project for the Broward Health District. BROWARD COLLEGE SIMULATION LAB, Davie, Florida ACAI has been selected by Broward College to design a building which includes seven state -of- the -art simulation labs each of which are equipped with human patient simulators and bedside computers; specialized hospital equipmen specific to the function of each lab; internet access; digitalized video; recording cameras and TV monitors. The labs are designed to replicate realistic practice settings and has an EMS ambulance bay, and Emergency Department, architecture . engineering . roofing consulting . construction management Aoo� I architecture en Im
