Wilson has over 26 years of experience in Construction Management and is responsible for <br />ACAI's Construction Administration Post - Design Services. Charles has extensive field experience and first- <br />hand knowledge is one of his greatest assets to ACAI. He is a Certified General Contractor (License number <br />CGC 1517786) and has extensive field experience and his first -hand knowledge is one of his greatest assets <br />to ACAL He is experienced with public, commercial and private facilities. <br />The following is a list of selected project experience: <br />BROWARD COUNTY RAVENSWOOD BUS MAINTENANCE FACILITY, Fort Lauderdale, Florida <br />ACAI Associates was selected by Broward County, Florida to provide programming, design and construction <br />administration services for the replacement of facilities at the Ravenswood Bus Maintenance Facility. The 9 -acre site <br />was reconfigured, replacing the existing 1970's structures with new state -of- the -art facilities for current and future needs. <br />The facility accommodates up to 150 fleet vehicles including (130) 40 -foot buses and (20) 60 -foot articulated buses <br />along with staff and visitor parking, the majority of which provides by a new 268 - space multi -level parking garage. <br />The existing facilities replaced include: an operations building, an 11 -Bay bus maintenance building, a fueling and fare <br />retrieval facility, bus washing facility and surface parking. In addition, ancillary structures include: a sanitary lift station, <br />guard gate, a compressor building and other miscellaneous storage buildings. As part of Broward County's ongoing <br />efforts to provide more energy efficient, environmentally sustainable building, the new Ravenswood Maintenance <br />Facility will pursue a LEED® Gold Certification, <br />CHRIS EVERT CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL, PHASE I, Fort Lauderdale, Florida <br />ACAI was selected to provide architectural services for the 225,000 square foot additions and alterations to Broward <br />Health Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Our initial team included Page as Associate Architect. The Chris <br />Evert Women's and Children's Hospital is a Level I Pediatric Trauma Center recognized by the National Association of <br />Children's Hospitals. The healthcare facility provides family- centered care for infants, children and youth. As planned, <br />the project will promote the hospital's South Tower as the portal to the Chris Evert Children's Hospital and includes a <br />new Pediatric Emergency Department, state -of- the -art NICU, labor and delivery and Post -Partum Private rooms and <br />a host of new ancillary and support facilities alongside an expanded parking garage with pedestrian skylink direct to <br />the new tower. ACAI was instrumental in compelling the District to establish their Building Information Modeling (BIM) <br />standards and FM Models as part of a Districtwide comprehensive conversion /FM process. As a result, the Chris Evert <br />Children's Hospital project is the first major BIM project for the Broward Health District. <br />NSU STUDENT EDUCATION CENTERS, Palm Beach Gardens, Florida <br />The Nova Southeastern University Student Education Centers create an on- campus atmosphere while serving students <br />from all areas off of the main campus. The Centers have established high quality and efficient services and staff that <br />enable students to finish their degrees successfully, as well as provide students with an experience that contributes <br />to their personal and professional development.
