)ksoow I SOUTH FLORIDA REGIONAL TRANSPORTATION
AUTHORITY GENERAL PLANNING
architecture • engineering Pompano Beach, Florida
ACAI is the Design Criteria Professional
for South Florida Regional Transportation
Authority. The DC documents set the tone
and expectations for the Design Builder to
follow in delivering the product to the owner.
The first assignment for ACAI was to develop
the guidelines for design of SFRTA's new cor-
porate headquarters at its Pompano Beach
campus. The campus includes a number of
key buildings that are part of the ensemble and
include the 87,000 sf Corporate Building, a 500
space structural parking garage and Pompano
Beach's newest rail station. ACAI's involve-
ment in this project is extensive and includes
oversight of the Design Builder's work products
so it follows our original conceptual documents
from design into turnkey occupancy.
The SFRTA was so pleased with the work on
this project that ACAI was selected to continue
its work with the authority for another five years!
I ,
*g
,.k
architecture engineering roofing consulting construction management
