The site and civil design of the project was worked <br />into extensive tree islands & tree preservation areas to maintain a natural <br />appearance. Craven Thompson provided Surveying, Landscape <br />Architectural and Civil Engineering services for the project. <br />A meandering walkway, complete with accent lighting and park benches, through a natural preserve area <br />from the platform to the parking lot is one of the many features within the project. The parking lot <br />expansion will be constructed in two phases. Phase I added approximately 300 new spaces to the <br />existing Tri -Rail Station.
