AECOM RFQ No. 15-04-01 <br />Similar Experience <br />City of Sunny Isles Beach, Heritage Park <br />and Parking Garage, Sunny Isles Beach, <br />FL. Planning and design for a new <br />parking garage which was incorporated <br />into a new 4-acre community park. The <br />500+ car garage consists of 4-levels of <br />parking and includes functional space <br />for concessions, park support space, <br />and public works at the first level. The <br />park component includes a children’s <br />playground, plaza and gazebo. <br />City of Sunny Isles Beach, Government <br />Center, Sunny Isles Beach, FL. A <br />58,000-square-foot government <br />complex inclusive of city hall, <br />commission chambers, police facility, <br />and a public library. Due to the facility’s <br />adjacency to the waterfront, the <br />building will be designed to withstand <br />most hurricanes. Also included is a <br />parking garage. <br />Collier County Government Center Fixed <br />Term Contract Naples, FL. Electrical <br />Engineer for this fixed term contract <br />included the renovation of the existing <br />courthouse and improvements to <br />the existing jail facility. As part of the <br />renovation process the sixth floor was <br />design to meet LEED CI certification <br />standards and will feature energy <br />efficient lighting, mechanical systems, <br />and sustainable finishes. The jail <br />improvements consisted of two major <br />components, exterior stucco / window <br />replacement and under-slab plumbing <br />replacement. <br />Village of Key Biscayne Government <br />Center Key Biscayne, FL. Role: Electrical <br />Engineer. The Government Center <br />Building is composed of 33,158 SF <br />of program that includes police and <br />public works related functions. AECOM <br />was selected for the administration <br />and police building. The building is <br />designed around a two-story courtyard <br />connecting the pedestrian circulation <br />from the main street building entrance <br />with a pedestrian garage entrance to <br />the south. <br />Palm Beach County Courthouse Historic <br />Preservation and Renovation, West <br />Palm Beach, FL. Electrical Engineer for <br />the restoration of a 4-story, 40,000 SF <br />1916 County Courthouse was ultimately <br />chosen as the facility to house a variety <br />of historic and public use functions. <br />Phase I of this project was the selective <br />demolition of three additions which had <br />obscured the building’s original Gothic <br />Revival architectural style. Phase II was <br />the restoration of the 1916 building <br />to its original grandeur. The facility <br />included fully restored ceremonial <br />display courtroom. <br />City of Miramar Cultural Center, <br />Miramar, FL. Role: Electrical Engineer . <br />The Cultural Arts Center is a multi-use <br />community facility which will provide <br />the citizens of Miramar with a variety <br />of functions including: an 814-seat <br />auditorium / performing arts space <br />inclusive of a mezzanine; an art gallery / <br />exhibition area; multipurpose and sub- <br />dividable meeting rooms; a full service <br />kitchen; classrooms; administrative <br />support space and an outdoor <br />amphitheater. <br />Publix Supermarkets, Inc, Continuing <br />Contract, FL. AECOM has been <br />responsible for renovation of <br />approximately 35 stores in various <br />locations throughout Florida.
