Russo,City Manager <br /> FROM: Fred A.Maas,Chief of Police <br /> Michael A.Grandinetti,Police Captain <br /> DATE: 6/18/2015 <br /> Approval to Expend Partial DOJ Forfeiture Funds for the <br /> RE: purchase of Document Scanners,UHF Radios and <br /> Accessories,Television/Monitors and a Forensic Data <br /> • Extraction Solution,in an amount not to exceed$27,100.00 <br /> RECOMMENDATION: <br /> It is recommended that the City Commission approve the expenditure of <br /> partial Federal (DOJ) Forfeiture Funds, previously awarded to the Police <br /> Department as the results of investigative participation in forfeiture and <br /> seizure cases. These funds are permissible by law to be spent for the <br /> purchases of police equipment and other law enforcement activities.
