City of Sunny Isles Beach | Invitation to Bid No. 15‐07‐01 11   <br />  <br />2.5 METHOD OF AWARD <br /> <br />The staff will review the Bids based on the bid price, the capacity, ability and skill of the Bidder to <br />perform the work, the past performance of the Bidder, and the proximity of the Bidder’s facilities <br />to the City of Sunny Isles Beach, as well as the factors outlined in Section 62-8 of the City Code. <br /> <br />2.6 PRICE <br /> <br />If the vendor is awarded a contract under this solicitation, the prices proposed by the vendor shall <br />remain fixed and firm during the then existing term of contract, except as detailed in Section 2.4 <br />OPTIONS TO RENEW. <br /> <br />2.7 PERFORMANCE BOND <br /> <br />The City of Sunny Isles Beach shall require the successful Bidder to furnish a Performance Bond in <br />the amount of 100% of the total Bid Price, with the City of Sunny Isles Beach as the Obligee, as <br />security for the faithful performance of the Contract and for the payment of all persons performing <br />labor or furnishing materials in connection herewith within ten (10) calendar days after notification <br />of the award by the City. The Performance Bond shall continue in effect through the contract <br />term(s). The bonds shall be with a surety company authorized to do business in the State of Florida <br />and having been in business with a record of successful continuous operation for at least five (5) <br />years. <br /> <br />2.8 BID BOND <br /> <br />The City of Sunny Isles Beach shall require that every proposer furnish a bid bond in the amount <br />of 5% of the total proposal price. <br /> <br />2.9 DELIVERY <br /> <br />Intentionally Omitted <br /> <br />2.10 INSURANCE <br /> <br />2.10.1 Comprehensive General Liability Insurance <br />Comprehensive General Liability with minimum limits of One Million Dollars <br />($1,000,000.00) per occurrence combined single limit for Bodily Injury Liability and <br />Property Damage Liability. Coverage must be offered in a form no more restrictive than <br />the latest edition of the Comprehensive General Liability policy, without restrictive <br />endorsements, as filed by the Insurance Services Office, and shall specifically include the <br />following with minimum limits not less than those required for Bodily Injury Liability and <br />Property Damage Liability: <br /> Premises and Operation; <br /> Independent Contractors;
