Handrails, <br />doorknobs and other surfaces will be clean and polished to an acceptable luster. Walls up <br />to a standing height will be free of finger marks and other dirt spots of any kind. <br /> <br />C. Mopping and Scrubbing <br /> <br />Stair landings and steps will be free of loose and/or caked dirt particles and will present an <br />overall appearance of cleanliness after mopping or scrubbing. Walls, baseboards, and stair <br />risers will be free of watermarks, scars from the equipment striking the surfaces and <br />splashing from the cleaning solution. All surfaces will be dry and the corners and cracks <br />clean after dry mopping. <br /> <br />4.8 RESTROOMS <br /> <br />A. Clean Toilets <br /> <br />Toilet bowls and other porcelain surfaces will be clean and bright. <br />Towel, toilet paper and soap dispensers will be filled, clean and in good working order. <br />There will be no soil marks on the fixtures or walls. <br />The floor, wainscoting and partitions will clean. <br /> <br />B. Clean Wash Basins <br /> <br /> There will be no stains or spots on surfaces of wash basins. <br /> Wash basins will be clean and bright. <br /> Walls near wash basins will be free from spots or smears. <br /> The floor will be free of water or soap solution. <br /> All metals, such as spigots and other hardware, will be clean and bright. <br /> Collection of Used Towels and Other Trash <br /> All used towel receptacles will be empty and clean, both inside and outside. <br /> All Sanitary receptacles will be clean, both inside and outside, and contain a new paper bag <br />liner. <br /> No trash will be on the floor. <br /> All unused towels will be at the designated disposal location. <br /> Replenishment of Supplies <br /> All dispensers of supplies will be clean and filled with the proper supplies. <br /> The dispensers shall be ready for use, and checked so that paper rolls easily. <br /> <br />4.9 TRASH RECEPTACLES <br /> <br />A. Collecting Refuse from Units <br /> <br />All discarded material will be removed from the trash receptacles. <br />Recycling: All city facilities have recyclable containers and it is the Bidder’s responsibility to <br />remove recyclable paper and materials and place them in the designated recyclable containers. <br />
