City of Sunny Isles Beach | Invitation to Bid No. 15‐07‐01 37   <br />  <br />5.4 LOTION CLEANSER <br /> <br />Scope <br /> This specification covers a lotion-type abrasive disinfectant cleanser for the cleaning of porcelain <br />surfaces and for general maintenance use. <br /> <br />Requirements <br />1. The cleaner shall be made from high quality soap, abrasives, and disinfectant agents, uniformly <br />mixed. Small amounts of other ingredients may be added to improve the quality of the cleanser. <br /> <br />2. The cleaner shall be a white or an attractive pleasing color, scented or unscented, and of uniform <br />composition. <br /> <br />3. Product shall not separate when stored at 50C for seven days.・ <br /> <br />Composition <br />1. The moisture content shall not exceed 55%. <br /> <br />2. Anhydrous synthetic detergent content – 5% minimum to 10% maximum. <br /> <br />3. Abrasive content shall not be less than 30%. <br /> <br />4. Fineness of insoluble siliceous matter – 1% maximum retained on #100 U.S. Sieve. <br /> <br />5. PH measured by stand meter method shall be between seven and eight. <br /> <br />5.5 STAINLESS STEEL CLEANER AND POLISH <br /> <br />Scope <br /> Stainless steel cleaners and polish covered by this specification is intended for use on stainless <br />steel and other unpainted metal surfaces. <br /> <br />Requirements <br />1. The material shall not cake or powder in crevices or corners and leave no residue on the surface <br />after polishing. <br /> <br />2. The product shall have a pleasant, mild odor and leave no residual odor on the polished surface. <br /> <br />3. The product shall contain no acids, alkali, wax, or abrasive material. <br /> <br />4. The material shall have a flash point in excess of 120F by the TAG closed cup method.・
