Estimated construction start date is projected early 2016. <br />• The first task will be to advise the City Manager with respect to conceptual design <br />scheme for a Government Center Annex and accessory structure(s) related to the <br />Government Center Annex <br />• Respondent will be available throughout the design phase of the project, to resolve <br />any related issues and to make recommendations to the City Manager regarding cost <br />saving methods. <br />• Respondent will be expected to coordinate with designated City Personnel and may be <br />required, should the City choose, to coordinate on all or some of the project phases <br />with a Construction Manager selected by the City and responsible directly to the City <br />under separate contract. <br />• The City intends to execute an agreement with a firm to provide Construction <br />Management Risk services for a new Facility located at 18080 Collins Avenue, Sunny <br />Isles Beach, FL 33160. This property is a 1 -acre lot. <br />Qualification- Respondent must demonstrate expertise in design in the following areas: <br />• Primary Construction Management Services. <br />• Knowledge of the local market and control quality purchasing. <br />• Ability in providing a project within the estimated budget. <br />3.4 SERVICES SOUGHT <br />The respondent will provide construction management services, which shall include, but not be <br />limited to: <br />• Pre - Planned Construction advice to architect <br />• Value Engineering <br />• Consultation During Project Development between architect and owner <br />• Scheduling <br />• Project Construction Budget <br />• Coordinating Contract Documents <br />• Construction Planning <br />• Bid packages <br />• Bidder qualification <br />• Competitive Bidding <br />• Equal Employment Opportunity <br />• Cost control and accounting <br />• Cost saving methods <br />The respondent will present cost estimates to City Manager and other appropriate City officials at <br />various stages of design development as determined by the City Manager.
