Section 2 <br />Special Terms and Conditions <br />2.1 PURPOSE OF THIS REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS: <br />The City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, (the "City') a municipality located in Miami -Dade County, <br />Florida, seeks to secure a contract with a Construction Management Risk ( "Firm's to provide <br />Construction Management Risk services for a new facility. The new facility will be used for municipal <br />purposes, educational purposes, community & civic uses as well as commercial space. The total <br />estimated square footage for the facility is approximately 100,000 square feet. (Outlined in <br />Section 3 Scope of Services below) The new facility will be located at 18080 Collins Avenue, <br />Sunny Isles Beach, Florida 33160. <br />2.2 PRE - QUALIFICATION CONFERENCE <br />Intentionally Omitted <br />2.3 TERM <br />This contract will commence on the first calendar day of the month succeeding approval of the <br />contract by the City Commission, or designee, unless otherwise stipulated in the Notice of Award <br />letter. The contract shall be contingent upon the completion and submittal of all required <br />documents. This contract shall remain in effect until the completion of services, provided that the <br />services rendered by Firm during the contract period are satisfactory and that City funding is <br />available as appropriated on an annual basis. However in the event funding is not appropriated on <br />an annual basis during any particular year within the contract period, the contract may be canceled <br />upon thirty (30) days written notice to Firm.
