Presently , we are <br /> 15 using the county codes - - excuse me - - and when <br /> 16 we adopt city codes related to code enforcement <br /> 17 matters , in effect , this would give us a local <br /> 18 judge whom we call a hearing officer - - excuse my <br /> 19 cold - - who would give alleged violators of the <br /> 20 city or county code their day in court so that <br /> 21 they would have due process . <br /> 22 Most of the cities have this procedure . I ' m <br /> 23 familiar , personally , with the procedure in North <br /> 24 Bay Village , which is very similar to this , that <br /> ® 25 worked very well .
