Mayor . <br /> 9 The most important fact about this fee is that it <br /> 10 currently exists , and it ' s paid to Metropolitan <br /> 11 Dade County . This is a fee transfer . <br /> 12 So , as the Mayor reported earlier , this <br /> 13 relates only to new development but right now <br /> ® <br /> 14 it ' s paid to Miami Dade County . <br /> 15 So what we are trying to do in this <br /> 16 ordinance is have that same money come to the <br /> 17 City in the future since we are developing our <br /> 18 own Building Department . There is no change in <br /> 19 taxation to the new developers , but the money <br /> 20 would come to the City .
