City Attorney Dannheisser explained that a paragraph had been <br /> accidentally omitted from the agenda copy, and she then read the paragraph aloud. <br /> Commissioner Iglesias objected to Section 5(B), which would authorize the Building Official <br /> to settle cases. <br /> Judge Manuel Ramos offered to serve as the City's Special Master for two years at no expense, <br /> if the City Commission would leave the Code Enforcement ordinance alone. City Attorney <br /> Dannheisser noted that Judge Ramos had asked for several amendments. <br /> Commissioner Kauffman moved and Commissioner Iglesias seconded a motion to approve the <br /> proposed ordinance on first reading. The motion was approved by a roll call vote of 3-2 <br /> in favor.
