<br />BACKGROUND
<br />Don Scott has extensive 38-year background in developing and administering safety programs.
<br />spent 33 years in the Florida state government, managing safety programs for large Florida state
<br />parks. During this time he was responsible for the development, implementation, and control of
<br />safety programs that would meet the Florida Department of Labor, Division of Safety requirements
<br />which are more stringent than OSHA in many respects. In December of 1998 he founded Don Scott
<br />& Associates Inc. a safety program development and management company at the request of several
<br />construction and landscape companies in the Stuart, Florida area. He has developed safety programs
<br />that meet or exceeded OSHA standards for several construction and landscape firms, regularly
<br />conducted safety training, work site safety hazard assessments, update client safety programs and
<br />conduct OSHA 10 and 30 hr. programs. Don has extensive experience with safety processes involving
<br />several types of construction including Frame, Cast in Place Concrete, Masonry and Tilt wall. These
<br />programs involved all types of equipment safety from backhoes, loaders, bulldozers and large trucks,
<br />both multi axel and tractor-trailer.
<br />EXPERIENCE
<br />Miami Dade College Academic Support Center, Miami, FL — New construction of a 136,000 s.f.
<br />5-story building provides state-of-the-art facilities for recruitment, international student services,
<br />advisement, career center, admissions and registration, bursar, and financial aid services. LEED Gold,
<br />CM at Risk, $25.0 million.
<br />Miramar West Center, Miramar, FL — New construction of a new 4-story, 80,000 s.f. building
<br />including classrooms, science labs, student academic support and administration space. Provides
<br />approximately 580 parking spaces. The project was built on a 20 acre site that includes approximately
<br />9.5 acres of buildable, non-wetland conservation easement area. Design/Build, $23.0 million.

<br />Boca Raton Downtown Library, Boca Raton, FL — New construction of a library with an occupancy
<br />of 739. The new library has various seating, study and reference areas. Project also includes private
<br />and open plan office space along with retail area, coffee bar, multi-purpose rooms, restrooms and
<br />circulation area. CM at Risk, $10.0 million.

<br />Hollywood Beach Safety & CRA Complex, Hollywood, FL — New construction of a 34,000 s.f., 2-story
<br />Public Safety Building with a 3 bay Fire Station, Beach Safety and Community Redevelopment Agency
<br />offices and parking and renovation of an existing 1-story historic structure. $6.6 million.

<br />Mandel Jewish Community Center & Meyer Academy, Palm Beach Gardens, FL — New construction
<br />of a 54,303 s.f. preschool/community center and 68,000 s.f. day school campus in Palm Beach Gardens.
<br />The facilities include classrooms, a gymnasium, fitness rooms, social hall, teaching kitchen, art gallery,
<br />café, and much more. In addition, the site includes an expansive aquatics center, full-size soccer and
<br />softball fields, a 1.3 acre preserve area, and state-of-the-art playgrounds. $21.1 million.

<br />Joe Celestin Center, North Miami, FL — New construction of a 20,000 s.f. community center. The
<br />project includes basketball courts, and an activity and wellness center. The site contained arsenic
<br />contaminated soil and required extensive decontamination and working closely with DERM and
<br />following a Contamination Assessment Plan. CM at Risk, LEED Gold, $5.2 million.
