Kaufman Lynn Construction strives to resolve all disputes during the pre-trial stages; prior to or at mediation/arbitration; and before the actual trial begins. All material arbitrations, administrative hearings, lawsuits, or criminal proceedings brought within the last five (5) years identifying Kaufman Lynn Construction, Inc. as a party are as follows: KAUFMAN LYNN CONSTRUCTION, INC. V. G.O’BRIEN CONSTRUCTION, INC. AND AEGIS SECURITY INSURANCE COMPANY: Kaufman Lynn Construction advanced funds to supplement, correct, and finish work performed by G.O’Brien Construction, Inc.(Palm Beach County, Case No. 2015CA7809) on the Allegro Senior Living Project in Boynton Beach. Kaufman Lynn Construction is seeking reimbursement of funds to provide supplemental forces. The amount for reimbursement totals approximately $1.2 million based on information available to date. KWOIN CONSTRUCTION CORP. V. BERKELEY REGIONAL INSURANCE CO. AND KAUFMAN LYNN CONSTRUCTION, INC.: Originally filed in Broward County (Broward County, Case No. CACE14012216), this matter was sent to arbitration. Kwoin Construction Corp was seeking payment for work which Kaufman Lynn Construction successfully argued was already part of its original scope of work and price totaling in excess of $40,000.00. Kaufman Lynn Construction was awarded $2,000.00 for reimbursement of correcting certain work performed as well as its attorney’s fees. While the disputed amount and claims are not material, it is important to note this is the only matter that has completed arbitration. Kaufman Lynn Construction has not participated in any administrative hearings or criminal proceedings, material or otherwise.
