Preconstruction Services Staff Page 35 Skanska is offering the City of Sunny Isles Beach our best and most qualified preconstruction staff for the Governmental Center Annex project. The proposed individual were hand- picked based on their experience with municipal projects on active, occupied campuses, as well as knowledge of the local market. We are confident that our preconstruction team is well prepared, equipped, and capable of partnering with the City of Sunny Isles Beach and Perkins + Will to ensure your project is a success. Skanska’s preconstruction effort will be led by Jim Cowdery, Vice President of Preconstruction, working with Pete Devoney, who will serve as our Preconstruction Director. Jim and Pete have 30 years of experience combined in the South Florida subcontractor market. Jim and Pete will collaborate with Ron Murtha, Project Executive. Their primary objective is to create value for the City of Sunny Isles Beach by maximizing the budget, ensuring that safe work practices are incorporated into all subcontractor packages and enhancing opportunities for local businesses. Within 90 days of project award, Ron and Pete will perform a senior-level budget validation. We will then perform in-house estimates on the entire project and use the estimates to develop detailed scopes of work. We will break down work packages to allow subcontractors of all sizes to participate. Preconstruction team members also will participate in developing the Project Execution Plan (PEP), again working collaboratively with construction team members.
