Claims and Litigation History <br />Page 66 <br />As would be expected for a national construction firm performing over $4.6 billion per year, Skanska USA Building has <br />been involved in legal matters common to the industry. As the construction manager on several hundred construction <br />projects in-progress at any one time, we are subject to claims of many types. The most common of which are subcontractor <br />claims for changes or delays. The vast majority of these actions are settled through party negotiation or mediation and do <br />not proceed to trial. When such claims do arise, Skanska USA Building works to resolve these as promptly and amicably as <br />possible.
