<br />City of Sunny Isles Beach |Request for Proposal No. 12-04-02 14 <br /> <br />Section 3 <br />Scope of Services / Technical Specifications <br /> <br />3.0 SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> <br />The objective of this solicitation is to solicit proposals for the qualifications and selection of firms <br />to provide Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Civil / Environmental Engineering, Planning & <br />Urban Design, Traffic Engineering & Transportation Consulting professional services. <br /> <br />This Request for Qualifications (“RFQ”) shall serve to provide interested parties with general <br />information as to the procedures for selection of firms providing architectural and engineering <br />services for the City of Sunny Isles Beach. <br /> <br />The City shall select approximately no less than three (3) firms for each category and place them <br />on a rotation list. Firms will not be limited to one professional category. Respondents shall <br />designate which professional category they are proposing and submit separate proposals for <br />each. Each selected firm shall enter into a contract with the City on a per project basis. As each <br />project is identified, the next firm on the rotation list within the required professional category <br />will be requested to submit a proposal. The City and firm will negotiate project terms per Florida <br />Statute 287.055. A purchase order / work order or similar document between the City and the <br />selected firm will be issued for each project. Any professional services listed below will be for <br />projects that do not exceed $2,000,000 in basic construction cost or $200,000 for a planning or <br />study activity pursuant to Florida Statute 287.055. <br /> <br />3.1 CONSULTANT RESPONSIBLITIES <br /> <br />Architecture <br /> <br />Activities may include but shall not be limited <br />to: <br /> <br />• Provide drawings and specification for <br />additions, renovations <br /> <br />• Attend meetings with City staff and <br />presentations to City Council; Provide plans <br />developed on AutoCAD’s latest version and <br />copies of a reproducible hard copy and <br />diskette of plans in the requested format shall <br />be provided to the City. <br /> <br />Landscape Architecture <br /> <br />Activities may include but shall not be limited <br />to: <br /> <br />• Provide drawings and specifications for <br />landscaping projects <br /> <br />• Site master planning, analysis and design
