Summary Minutes:Regular City Commission Meeting July 16,2013 City of Sunny Isles Beach,Florida little chunk of it if there is no gas station, that will probably just create more confusion with a bottleneck than actually makes it happen. Commissioner Goldman said can we get the developer to commit to an additional easement area, and Mr. Schulman said we will commit to discuss that with you inlgood faith at some future date when you have the rest of the puzzle pieces together. Commissioner Levin said a lot of people walk to Publix, so people that are coming from the north to go to Publix they are going to come in where the cars come in) off from Collins Avenue, is there somewhere for them to walk that is not on that driveway? Mr. Schulman said he believes they will have to go to 183`d Street, and Bill Fisher said ih'order not to leave the pedestrians with the cars we have left a pedestrian access to brick 'paver drive on the rendering. Commissioner Levin said people will probably still walk on' at driveway, and Mr. Doreiro said we don't want them to walk there as FDOT or the County won't allow it, it is very dangerous. ORDINANCES FOR FIRST READING 7A. An Ordinance of the City Commission of the City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida,Amending Section 265-46 of the City Code Entitled "Off-Street Parking and Loading Standards" to Clarify that Off-Street Loading Spaces Shall be Required for All €ommercial and Office Buildings; Providing for Severability; Providing for Repeal of Conflicting Provisions; Providing for Inclusion in the Code; and Providing for an Effective Date. Action: City Clerk Hines read the title, and City Attorney Ottinot I ported that this Ordinance clarifies that off-street loading spaces shall be required for all commercial and office buildings without any exception. This amendatory Ordinance will require trucks to load on site instead of on the local street. Public Speakers: None 17
