Summary Minutes:Regular City Commission Meeting July 16.2015 City of Sunny Isles Beach,Florida <br /> Public Speakers: None <br /> Mayor Scholl said we had an agreement to sell the Rabbi the piece of land adjacent to his <br /> current parcel which is under the bridge by Bella Vista Park and now that agreement <br /> expired and so we are returning the Rabbi's deposit and cancelling that agreement. We <br /> continue to own the land along the Intracoastal and Bella Vista Park. <br /> Commissioner Aelion moved and Commissioner Levin seconded a motion to approve the <br /> resolution. Resolution No. 2015-2446 was adopted by a voice vote of 5-0 in favor. <br /> 10H. A Resolution of the City Commission of the City of Sunny Isle's Beach, Florida, <br /> Authorizing the Chief of Police, in Accordance with the Comprehensive Crime Control <br /> Act of 1984,and in Accordance with Section 932.7055, F.S.,to Expend Partial Forfeiture <br /> Funds from the Department of Justice (DOJ) to a Laptop Computer, Office <br /> Furniture, Media Cabinet with Accessories and Three (3) Traffic Lasers, in an <br /> Amount Not to Exceed $42,000.00; Providing for an Effective Date. <br /> Action: City Clerk Hines read the title and Police Captain Michael Grandinetti reported. <br /> Public Speakers: None <br /> Commissioner Aelion moved and Commissioner Levin seconded a motion to approve the <br /> resolution. Resolution No. 2015-2447 was adopted by a voice vote of 5-0 in favor. <br /> 10I. Forfeiture Fund, for <br /> Various Charitable Contributions and for Legal Costs Associated with the Asset <br /> Forfeiture Process; Providing for an Effective Date. <br /> Action: City Clerk Hines read the title and Police Captain Michael Grandinetti reported. <br /> Public Speakers: None <br /> Commissioner Goldman moved and Commissioner Levin seconded a motion to approve <br /> the resolution. Add-On: <br /> A Resolution of the City Commission of the City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, <br /> Expressing Support for the Creation of the South Florida Mayors', Beach Alliance; <br /> Authorizing the City Manager to Do All Things Necessary to Effectuate this Resolution; <br /> Providing for an Effective Date. <br /> Action: [City Clerk's Note: Documentation was distributed prior to the meeting.
