[from 167 Street to southern <br /> boundary of the City] <br /> Action: City Clerk Brown-Morilla read the title, and City Manager DiPietro indicated that the <br /> low bid was for$309,752.25. He said that if he the proposal was approved, he would not sign <br /> the contract since State had said the City was in line to receive up to $850,000 in safety funds <br /> for Collins Avenue (originally federal funds). He offered to bring to the September City <br /> Commission agenda an FDOT agreement for safety grant funding, and promised that the <br /> landscaping would be completed in early December, 1999. He reported that the contractor had <br /> agreed to wait for another 60 days. <br /> Vice Mayor Turetsky moved and Commissioner Iglesias seconded a motion to approve the <br /> proposal. Resolution No. 99-153 was adopted by a voice vote of 5-0 in favor. <br /> Vote: Commissioner Iglesias yes <br /> Commissioner Kauffman yes <br /> Commissioner Morrow yes <br /> Vice-Mayor Turetsky Yes <br /> Mayor Samson yes <br /> 4.
