Specialty signs include <br /> <br /> A. Room Identification Signs <br /> <br /> B. Project Sign <br /> <br />1.02 SUBMITTALS <br /> <br />: <br /> A. Manufacturer's Data - Specialty Signs: Submit three (3) copies of manufacturer's technical data and <br />installation instructions for each type of sign required. <br /> <br /> B. Samples - Specialty Signs: Submit three (3) samples of each color and finish of exposed materials and <br />accessories required for specialty sings. Engineer's review of samples will be for color and texture. <br />Compliance with all other requirements is the exclusive responsibility of the Contractor. When requested, <br />furnish full-size samples of specialty sign materials. <br /> <br /> C. Shop Drawings - Specialty Signs: Submit shop drawings for fabrication and erection of specialty signs. <br />Include plans, elevations and large scale details of sign wording and lettering layout. Show anchorages <br />and accessory items. Furnish location template drawings for items supported or anchored to permanent <br />construction. Furnish full-size spacing templates for individual building-mounted letters and numbers. <br /> <br />PART 2 - PRODUCTS <br /> <br />2.01 <br /> <br />ROOM IDENTIFICATION SIGNS AND FLOOR LOAD SIGNS IN ACCORDANCE WITH CFR 1910.22 – <br />ENGRAVED PLATES <br /> "WOMEN". <br />: All restrooms shall be furnished with engraved sign plates indicating "MEN" or <br /> <br /> A. Engraved Plates: Fabricate sign plates similar to Best Manufacturing Co., Series 16, blue on white color as <br />selected by the Architect, 6" x 9” raised braille letters to meet local handicapped code requirement, unless <br />otherwise indicated. <br /> <br /> B. Engraved Plates Manufacturers: <br /> 1. A.C. Davenport & Son Co. <br /> 2. Action Signage, Inc. <br /> 3. Allen Marking Products Inc. <br /> 4. Andco Industries Corp. <br /> 5. Best Manufacturing Co. <br /> <br />2.02 CONSTRUCTION WARNING SIGNS <br /> warning signage in accordance with CFR 1926.200 during construction. <br />: The Contractor shall be required to provide all construction site <br /> <br />2.03 PROJECT SIGN <br /> visible location as directed by the Engineer. <br />: Install project signs as specified herein to be supplied and installed by the Contractor at a <br /> <br />2.04 SUBSTITUTIONS <br /> subject to final approval by the Engineer. <br />: Other products of the same function, performance, quality and appearance may be proposed, <br /> <br />
