SAMSON OCEANFRONT PARK <br />CITY OF SUNNY ISLES <br />TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS <br />CONTRACT CLOSEOUT 01700 -4 <br /> A. Products Required: <br />1. Provide to City the quantities of products, spare parts, maintenance tools, and maintenance materials <br />specified in individual Sections of the specifications, in addition to that required for completion of <br />Work. <br /> 2. Products shall be identical to those installed in the Work. Include quantities required from Supplier <br />or manufacturer of original purchase to avoid variations in manufacture. <br /> <br />B. Storage, Maintenance: <br />1. Coordinate with City. Deliver and unload spare products to City at Project site and obtain receipt <br />prior to final payment. <br /> 2. For portions of Project accepted and occupied by City prior to Substantial Completion, deliver the <br />applicable spare products to City at time of acceptance. Obtain receipt. <br /> 3. Maintain spare products in original containers with labels intact and legible, until delivery to City. <br /> <br />PART 2 - PRODUCTS (Not Applicable.) <br /> <br />PART 3 - EXECUTION <br /> <br />3.01 CLOSEOUT PROCEDURES <br /> <br />: <br />A. Operation and Maintenance Instructions: For equipment not covered by Section 01600, arrange for each <br />Installer of equipment that requires regular maintenance to meet with the City's personnel at Project site to <br />provide instruction in proper operation and maintenance. Provide instruction by manufacturer's <br />representatives if installers are not experienced in operation and maintenance procedures. Include a <br />detailed review of the following items: <br /> 1. Operation and maintenance manuals. <br /> 2. Record documents. <br /> 3. Spare parts and materials. <br /> 4. Tools. <br /> 5. Lubricants. <br /> 6. Identification systems. <br /> 7. Control sequences. <br /> 8. Hazards, hazardous chemicals data sheets. <br /> 9. Cleaning. <br /> 10. Warranties and bonds. <br /> 11. Maintenance agreements and similar continuing commitments. <br /> <br />B. As part of instruction for operating equipment, demonstrate the following procedures: <br /> 1. Start-up. <br /> 2. Shutdown. <br /> 3. Emergency operations. <br /> 4. Noise and vibration adjustments. <br /> 5. Safety procedures. <br /> 6. Economy and efficiency adjustments. <br /> 7. Effective energy utilization. <br /> <br />3.02 FINAL CLEANING <br /> <br />: <br /> A. General: The GENERAL CONDITIONS require general cleaning during construction. Regular site <br />cleaning is included in SECTION 01530. <br />
