LPA RESOLUTION NO. 2015- a '7 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE LOCAL PLANNING <br /> AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, <br /> FLORIDA, RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY <br /> COMMISSION OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, THE <br /> ORDINANCE AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING <br /> MAP OF THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH <br /> PURSUANT TO SECTION 265-4 OF THE CITY CODE <br /> TO MAKE IT CONSISTENT WITH THE OFFICIAL <br /> LAND USE MAP; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE <br /> DATE. <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 163.3174, Florida Statutes, the City Commission has <br /> been designated as the Local Planning Agency for the City of Sunny Isles Beach; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Local Planning Agency held a public hearing to consider the small scale <br /> amendment to the Future Land Use Map ("FLUM") of the City of Sunny Isles Beach <br /> Comprehensive Plan; and <br /> WHEREAS, on November 19, 2015 the Local Planning Agency approved and <br /> recommended to the City Commission that this small scale amendment to the FLUM be adopted; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, on November 19, 2015 via Ordinance No. 2015-465 the City Commission <br /> approved the "Small Scale Amendment to the Future Land Use Map" for community facilities, <br /> and the City is now in need of amending its Official Zoning Map to be consistent with its Future <br /> Land Use Map; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Commission, as the LPA, has reviewed the amendment to the <br /> Official Zoning Map of the City of Sunny Isles Beach pursuant to Section 265-4 of the City Code; <br /> to make it consistent with its Future Land Use Map; and <br /> WHEREAS, the LPA has determined that it is in the best interest of the City and its <br /> residents to recommend approval of the Ordinance amending the Official Zoning Map of the City of <br /> Sunny Isles Beach pursuant to Section 265-4, of the City Code. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE <br /> CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> Section 1. Recommendation: That the Local Planning Agency hereby recommends to the City <br /> Commission of the City of Sunny Isles Beach approval of the Ordinance amending the Official <br /> Zoning Map of the City of Sunny Isles Beach, pursuant to Section 265-4 of the City Code. <br /> Page I of 2 <br />
