<br /> <br />01710 - 2/2 <br />C. Remove waste materials, debris, and rubbish from site daily and dispose of at legal <br />disposal areas away from site. <br />3.02 DUST CONTROL <br />A. Clean interior spaces before start of finish painting and continue cleaning on as- <br />needed basis until painting is finished. <br /> <br />B. Schedule operations so dust and other contaminants resulting from cleaning process <br />do not fall on wet or newly-coated surfaces. <br /> <br />C. Use periodic water spraying as required to minimize dust formation and keep dust <br />generating areas wetted down. <br /> <br />3.03 FINAL CLEANING <br />A. Employ skilled personnel for final cleaning. <br />B. Broom clean exterior paved surfaces and rake clean other surfaces of grounds. <br />C. Wash and shine glazing and mirrors. <br />D. Polish glossy surfaces to clear shine. <br />E. Ventilating Systems: <br />1 Clean permanent filters and replace disposable filters if units were operated <br />during construction. <br />2 Clean ducts, blowers, and coils if units were operated without filters during <br />construction. <br />3 Upon completion, provide two spare sets of filters to the OWNER. <br />F. Remove grease, mastic, adhesives, dust, dirt, stains, fingerprints, labels, and other <br />foreign materials from sight-exposed interior and exterior surfaces. <br />G. Before Final Completion, or OWNER occupancy, conduct inspection of sight- <br />exposed interior and exterior surfaces, and all Work areas, to verify Work is clean. <br />H. Remove paving materials and clean all castings, exiting and new after final paving is <br />completed. <br />I. Clean all drainage structures and drainage components which may have received <br />construction runoff, debris, and contaminants during construction operations. <br />J. Maintain cleaning until acceptance and occupation by the OWNER. <br /> <br />END OF SECTION
