PROJECT MANAGEMENT APPROACH <br /> At RJ Behar we understand that repeat business is the key to a successful company and as such we strive <br /> to provide full customer satisfaction. Our organization places the upmost importance on the Project <br /> Manager to deliver quality services, on time and within budget. The Project Manager is the key to a <br /> successful project; he is the "CEO" for the technical elements related to the project. Our project <br /> management philosophy is to be proactive. This simply means: to search out problems and solve them <br /> before they can happen. Our Project Manager, Juan H. Vazquez, P.E., has been involved in numerous <br /> design projects over the past 26 years. Our management philosophy is best summarized as follows: <br /> a. Staff (Personnel that will perform the work) <br /> RJ Behar will commit highly competent and experienced professionals to this project. They will be <br /> provided the necessary resources and be held accountable for their results. For each firm in the team, <br /> we have established a point of contact for this contract that will start the coordination from each firm to <br /> develop the scope of services. <br /> b. Management of the Schedule (on time) <br /> The RJ Behar Project Manager is responsible for schedule control of the project. Working with City <br /> Staff and key members of the Project Team, Mr. Vazquez will identify all discrete activities, resources <br /> and efforts required for each task, and prepare the project schedule. Inputs to the schedule will be <br /> activities, duration of each activity, predecessors and successors to each activity, efforts required to <br /> complete each activity, and personnel assigned to successfully complete each activity. <br /> This process will result in a 5.177— — <br /> "Project Schedule" identifying ==1', <br /> activities, which are on the ; =_ == _=7-=1 ` <br /> "critical path" as well as float -_ —I — <br /> time in other activities.
