JUAN H. VAZQUEZ, PE, PH, BCEE Griffin Road and State Road 7—FDOT, District 4 Drainage Engineer. Prepared the MOT and drainage design concept Phase 1 report for SR 7 and prepared the drainage modifications to the Griffin Road section. Completed the drainage for SR 7 and permitting with the South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD), Broward County DNRP and US Army Corps of Engineers. Also completed plans for the relocation of a water main for Broward County Office of Environmental Services. He organized staff and performed contract management. The scope of this project entailed providing construction inspection services for canal bank restoration using gabions and rip-rap revetments. S-59, S-62 and S-63 Concrete Repairs—South Florida Water Management District(SFWMD) Task Manager. He organized staff and performed contract management. The scope of this project entailed providing construction inspection services for concrete repairs at three control structures. S-60 Gate Operational and Concrete Repairs—South Florida Water Management District(SFWMD) Task Manager. He organized staff and testing needs. The scope of this project entailed providing construction inspection services for gate replacement and concrete repairs. Compartment C Construction Inspections—South Florida Water Management District(SFWMD) Task Manager. He organized staff needs and performed contract management. The scope of this project entailed providing construction inspection services for construction of Compartment C. C-4 Cutoff Sheet Pile Wall—South Florida Water Management District(SFWMD) Project Manager and Special Inspector. He coordinated, staff, testing needs, requests for information,shop drawing reviews, and material approvals. The scope of the project consisted of providing inspection services, for the construction of a sheet pile cutoff wall and concrete cap, miscellaneous drainage, and earthwork along the north bank of the C-4 canal, from the Turnpike to 132^'Avenue in Miami-Dade County, Florida. S-65E Construction Inspection—South Florida Water Management District(SFWMD) Task Manager. He coordinated staff and testing requirements. The scope of the project involved, providing construction inspection services for S-65 E scour hole repairs and weir across the Kissimmee River. Southern CREW Imperial River Restoration, Construction Management — South Florida Water Management District. (SFWMD) Task Manager. He organized staff and coordinated testing needs. The scope of this project entailed providing construction inspection services to the Southern CREW Imperial River Restoration Project- Billy Don Grant Parcel Restoration. S-310 Clewiston Lock Structure Inspection—South Florida Water Management District(SFWMD) Task Manager for inspection of the project and provided professional recommendations as necessary. Area West of US-1 Drainage Study—City of Hallandale Beach, Florida Task Manager responsible for the inspection of this project. He provided consultation during construction, reviewed shop drawings,evaluated change orders and responded to request for information. George Washington Memorial Highway— Mt.Vernon,Virginia Inspector. The limits of the project were from Mt. Vernon to Alexandria, Virginia. He performed daily inspections of concrete pavement rehabilitation, new concrete pavement, roadway embankment, drainage installation, landscape installation and pavement markings. The pavement rehabilitation included joint sealing retrofit of joint dowels and pavement undersealing. He also verified surveys and conducted verification elevations, performed concrete cylinder testing as part of the quality assurance procedures, and inspected the maintenance of traffic features and detours. Duties included inspection and reporting,quality control,change order reviews,quantity take off and verification for payment certification. St. Joe River Road from Calder to Avery, Idaho ® Inspector. This project consisted of constructing 10 miles of a 2-lane rural roadway on an existing railroad alignment. He performed daily inspection of earthwork operations, blasting, drainage installation, construction of gabion walls along the river banks, box culverts and also inspected three new bridges.
