<br /> Hurricane Sign Replacements— FDOT, District 4
<br /> Structural Engineer—He designed sign replacements in District 4 after Hurricane Frances and Jeanne.
<br /> Battersea and Douglas Road Drainage Improvements—City of Miami, Florida
<br /> Structural Design Engineer for the design of a concrete gravity wall.
<br /> South Florida Water Management District North Region Structural & Mechanical Inspection Phase I — Okeechobee
<br /> and Kissimmee, Florida
<br /> Structural Engineer— He performed a detailed structural evaluation of 16 water control structures in the northern region of
<br /> the District and prepared the structural components of the report with the findings including planning level cost estimates
<br /> and recommendations of the required repairs.
<br /> McDonald Park Pedestrian Bridge—City of Hialeah, Florida
<br /> Structural Engineer — RJ Behar designed the pedestrian bridge across the lake at McDonald Park. The bridge
<br /> superstructure was an aluminum truss and the substructure was prestressed concrete piles. During construction we
<br /> 40 provided construction supervision services for the pile driving and the aluminum truss installation.
<br /> Powerline Road (SR-845) Palm Beach County, Florida— FDOT, District 4
<br /> Structural Engineer — He was responsible for the design of the rehabilitation of the bridge over L 47 Canal. The project
<br /> consisted of roadway design, drainage, pavement marking and signing plans, signal plans (7 locations) lighting and bridge
<br /> plan services. The structural design included repairs to the bridge over Hillsboro Canal including new joints, guardrail
<br /> connections, and riprap repairs. Project length: 3 miles.
<br /> SR-A1A Bridge over Boynton Inlet Bridge Rehabilitation—FDOT, District 4
<br /> Structural Design Engineer— He prepared plans for replacement of the concrete rails, guardrail attachments, sealing, repair
<br /> of joints and also prepared plans for construction of eight new outfalls connecting to an existing seawall. The scope
<br /> included the design plans for milling and resurfacing (RRR) for 5 miles of a major rural roadway, including drainage studies,
<br /> drainage design, pavement marking and signing plans, signal plans, bridge plans, public involvement, lighting and
<br /> landscape plans.
<br /> 1-95 Bridge over Donald Ross Road &C-18 Canal—FDOT, District 4
<br /> Structural Design Engineer — This project, for the Florida Department of Transportation, involved the widening of two
<br /> medium span bridges. He prepared the bridge development report, structural plans, sound wall and retaining wall design.
<br /> The design included the development of technical special provisions and permit coordination.
<br /> 45th Street Bridge—FDOT Turnpike Enterprise
<br /> Structural Design Engineer—His responsibilities included marketing, price negotiations,client contact, project management
<br /> and QC/QA for this project.
<br /> Oakland Park Boulevard Bridge over the C-13 Canal— FDOT, District 4
<br /> Structural Engineer—He was responsible for the design, shop drawings review and construction support for this structure.
<br /> McClure Road Bridge Replacement— FDOT District 4
<br /> Structural Engineer — His responsibilities included marketing, price negotiations, client contact, project management and
<br /> QC/QA for this project.
<br /> Hidden Acres Estates Feasibility Study—South Florida Water Management District(SFWMD)
<br /> ® Structural Engineer—He performed structural evaluation of the feasibility to raise 17 mobile homes and attachments above
<br /> projected flood levels. The project was part of the Kissimmee River restoration project.
