<br /> 84th Street, for the City of Hialeah. The general synopsis and scope of the project, comprised of complete reconstruction of
<br /> West 36th Avenue, including new sidewalks, curbs, gutters, and drainage improvements - new drainage inlets, 18" storm
<br /> sewer cross drainage pipe, 1,271 LF of 18" exfiltration trench (French drain). The project also included pavement milling
<br /> and resurfacing, signing and pavement markings, street lighting, tree removal, grading of adjacent swale areas and sod
<br /> restoration with Performance Turf. Project length: 0.5 miles
<br /> Pembroke Road and NW 196th Avenue Sidewalk Improvements - Construction Engineering Inspection — City of
<br /> Pembroke Pines, Florida; American Recovery& Reinvestment Act
<br /> Resident Compliance Specialist— Responsible for the verification of AA/EEO requirements for the City of Pembroke Pines,
<br /> ARRA funded Sidewalk Improvement Project. This includes the addition of approximately 22,600 LF of sidewalk, pedestrian
<br /> handrails, milling and resurfacing, signing and pavement markings, new Americans with Disability Act (ADA) ramps with
<br /> detectable warning surfaces, new curb installation, guardrail removal, grading of adjacent swales, sod restoration and new
<br /> landscaping
<br /> W. 53rd Street(from W.4th Avenue to W. 8th Avenue) Construction Engineering Inspection—City of Hialeah, Florida;

<br /> files and spreadsheets, monitored the OJT program, and made certain the contractor complied with EEO/AA requirements
<br /> for the project, supported the contractor when deemed necessary, in order to comply with submittals.
<br /> Pines Boulevard (SR-820) and 1-75 (SR-93) Interchange, Construction Engineering Inspection — City of Pembroke
<br /> Pines, Florida— FDOT, District 4
<br /> Resident Compliance Specialist(RCS) — Responsible for a $11.2 million Local Agency Program (LAP) between the City of
<br /> Pembroke Pines and FDOT, District 4. This is a federally funded project involving improvements to the 1-75/Pines Boulevard
<br /> Interchange, including updated modifications to the existing interstate overpass, entrance and exit ramps, from a rural
<br /> configuration to an urban configuration, as well as widening and signalization improvements along Pines Boulevard.
<br /> Project Length: 1.3 Miles.
<br /> SR-25(Okeechobee Road) Depressed Section, Miami-Dade County, Florida
<br /> Resident Compliance Specialist — The extent of the project was a 470 meter long, widening and reconstruction of SR-25
<br /> (Okeechobee Road). The project resulted in successfully depressing a section of Okeechobee Road between West 12th
<br /> Avenue and West 19th Street in Hialeah, underneath an existing FEC railroad crossing. Prior to completing the job, an
<br /> FDOT compliance review was performed by Stan Ford, District 6 Compliance Manager, at which time various non-compliant
<br /> issues were revealed, all related to EEO and payroll issues, which resulted in a delay of final acceptance. Ms. Sookdew-
<br /> Sing provided RCS assistance and rectified the noncompliant concerns. The review consisted of verification of wage and
<br /> classification compliance. Other issues included verification of union dues, insurance, approved deductions, and loan
<br /> repayments. All non-compliant issues were resolved with the experience and support of Ms. Sookdew-Sing, the project was
<br /> finally accepted and closed in February 2008.
<br /> SR-5(Federal Highway)from Sunrise Boulevard to Oakland Park Blvd, Fort Lauderdale, Florida—FDOT, District 4
<br /> Resident Compliance Specialist(RCS) —The scope of the assignment was a $7.7 million federally funded project involving
<br /> milling, resurfacing and the reconstruction of Federal Highway SR-5. The contract necessitated OJT, DBE participation,
<br /> EPEEO/AA compliance and review of weekly certified payrolls.
