<br /> 9 The City of Weston contracted CGA to perform an inventory of the city's roadway signs
<br /> 9 using GPS equipment to add such data into the city's GIS. Each sign collected included
<br /> ® photos and attribute data which CGA's GIS department used to build a citywide
<br /> database. CGA was tasked to inventory all existing signs along public roadways within
<br /> ® the city limits (over 3400 signs). In addition to the horizontal location in State Plane
<br /> ® Coordinates of each sign, CGA recorded various details (size, surrounding environment,
<br /> orientation, condition, pictures, type, Text, etc) to be used in evaluating the city's sign
<br /> ® inventory. Once the database was populated by the Survey and GIS departments our
<br /> ® Engineers and Landscape Architects identified missing signs as well as signs that did not
<br /> ® meet Weston's current wind resistance and decorative standards for replacement.
