Because the <br /> ® City is soliciting engineering and traffic consultant services in separate RFQs, we comprehend that <br /> ® deliverables may result from closely-built coordination with City and City-selected consultant staff. As <br /> ® such, we strongly believe that having a Landscape Architect experienced in leading projects under this <br /> structure guarantees that the deliverables not only take into account all the landscape architectural <br /> ® components of a project, but we can serve as an agent of the City in ensuring that engineering and <br /> ® constructability conflicts in the project are duly noted, addressed and resolved prior to going out to bid. <br /> This will certainly minimize cost and time over-runs and ensure adequate delivery of services of products <br /> ® to the Sunny Isles Beach community. <br /> ® <br /> We are ready to assist the City in meeting upcoming objectives, including the expressed goals of increasing <br /> the quality of life of residents, supporting local businesses, and aiding the City's initiatives to create more <br /> ® sustainable environments. <br /> ® CGA brings to the table our multi-disciplinary expertise conducting landscape planning, planting design, <br /> ® beautification, neighborhood improvement and traffic calming projects throughout various municipalities <br /> ® in South Florida. We also have great experience coordinating with planning initiatives to achieve goals and <br /> objectives similar to those set out in the various plans presently under the planning process by the City. <br /> ® Specific to streetscapes, CGA has been very effective in developing strategies that increase urban forestry, <br /> ® promote good tree and vegetative converge and health, support the benefits of cooling micro-climates, <br /> ® collaborate with overall wayfinding strategies, and enhance gateway and entrance moments.
